Last week, the Hochschul-Informations-System eG (HIS) user conference took place. The conference focused on examination and event management. The event attracted around 500 guests from the fields of higher education, administration and educational software to Leipzig. The various topics and the intensive exchange among the participants made NuTa 2024 a great event.
Numerous exciting topics were covered during the three-day conference. The main focus was on application management, implementing the “Onlinezugangsgesetz” (OZG) and the BundID as a central citizen mailbox. These and many other topics were discussed intensively, providing participants with valuable insights into current developments and future challenges in the higher education sector. Further details on HIS can be found on the official website.
Lectures on enmeshed as a highlight
A particular highlight of NuTa 2024 was Michael Lierath and Andreas Wittke’s presentation “Digital seals for final documents using the example of Europass and Enmeshed Wallet from Mein Bildungsraum,” as well as the XHochschule contribution on the following day. We are proud that one of the largest German providers in the field of campus management is making our digital wallet enmeshed available to its university customers. This presentation impressively showed how enmeshed contributes to the secure transfer of final documents and the structured retrieval of information, thus making an important contribution to the modernization of higher education. All interested universities can get in touch with their HIS contact person or contact us directly. You can find all further information here. After the presentation, our division manager, Thomas Steinmetz, was available as a direct technical contact to answer questions and explain further details.
Not only networking, but also celebrating
With an excellent atmosphere, delicious food and a great DJ, the evening was an unforgettable experience. The good atmosphere and the exchange with numerous universities open to digitalization helped to make the event a complete success.
We are already looking forward to taking part in the HIS User Conference again next year and once again making valuable contributions, including a presentation on our part. Thanks to Michael Lierath, Andreas Wittke and Arn Wassmann for their excellent presentation and support.
