The Didacta 2024 was more than just a trade fair – it was a successful mix of innovations and ideas in the education sector. Two weeks ago, our colleague Michael Feygelman and Dr. Danny Pajak from “Mein Bildungsraum” had the chance to present the networking infrastructure’s wallet app. Technologically, the “Ablage” component is currently based on our enmeshed technology.
Europe’s largest education fair was the perfect place to show how data transfer for school administrations can be implemented in a particularly secure way. With the wallet app based on enmeshed, schools can, for example Obtain sick notes or parental consent forms digitally with minimal administrative effort. This leaves more time to focus on the essentials: the pupils’ education.
With “Mein Bildungsraum” (formerly the National Education Platform), the Federal Ministry of Education and Research is creating a networking infrastructure for existing digital education services and administrative processes in the education sector. It promotes individual educational paths and a seamless digital learning journey from elementary school to old age. With the help of “Mein Bildungsraum”, it should be possible, for example, for certificates to be digitally verified, transmitted and signed in fthe future. A big step towards a common nationwide educational space that networks learners, teachers and educational offers and facilitates the exchange of information between learners, teachers and educational offers.
But didacta was not just a platform for technological innovations. It was also a place of exchange and inspiration. Exciting discussions took place at the numerous stands and visitors were able to find out about future trends. Inspiring presentations on “Time management” or “AI in the classroom” offered further insights and provided food for thought.
Overall, didacta 2024 was a complete success and proof that the world of education is changing. Through innovation and collaboration, we can improve education for future generations and ensure that everyone has the best possible learning opportunities. We are already looking forward to the next didacta and to continuing to help shape the future of education.
